The Capitata Peach typically has green leaves at a younger stage and silver velvety leaves at a more mature stage. These turn a peach colour when the plant is in bloom. It tends to grow amongst trees, but has also been found growing on cliff faces and canyons. When in bloom, it produces a green/yellow inflorescence with multiple purple flowers.
Capitata Peach are low maintenance air plants. In order to thrive, these plants need a humid environment such as a bathroom or a kitchen for optimal results. Misting is recommended every few weeks. Capitata dislike overwatering, therefore do not soak these air plants. Rainwater is ideal, and shake off any excess water from the leaves.

Unfortunately, due to the perishable nature of air plants we will only be able to exchange or refund if the plant arrives damaged. Please notify us immediately if the plant has been damaged in transit, including images.
The size of the Capitata Peach will vary between the dimensions listed below as it depends on our current stock, the season and the supply. Due to the nature of the plant being hand-produced and naturally grown, the dimensions listed below are all approximate.

If you are purchasing this plant to replace one from a Habulous product, please let us know by leaving a note at checkout as some products require different sized air plants. For example, if you need an air plant for a small bird, we would need to send you a smaller sized plant, whereas if you need an air plant for a large bird, you would need a larger version to suitably fit the product.
